"Julian Larry, from Indiana State Basketball Team joined my classroom on February 23rd as a part of my classroom Mystery Reader Program. He came in and read a story about the rules of basketball, thanks to Sherri Scott and South School Library. He hung out and gave out autographs and answered questions asked by my students. Thank you to Jamie Schneider and family for their donation of basketballs for each student and special snack. Another thank you to Danielle Cline for providing fun Sycamore Swag for students and decorations. As a gift, my class signed a Marshall Lions t-shirt and gifted it to him during his visit.
On February 24th, my class was invited, thanks to Joey O’Rourke, to the Indiana State Basketball game where we cheered on the Sycamores! At the end of the game we got to join the team on the court for autographs and high-fives.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen for my class! It was a once in a lifetime experience for all."
