PAWS is a group of Marshall Junior High Students who want to serve our school community and town better! We currently have approximately 70 students who are PAWS members. This year, students have been highly involved in "Hello Week," an event held in the mornings before school, where they greeted classmates, played games, danced to music, and enjoyed donuts. A great way to kick off their day!
Paws is always looking for ways to help, like:
collaborating with elementary schools to read and interact on fun days
planning Hello! and Homecoming Week activities
picking up litter at Marshall Autumn Fest
visiting Hollybrook
volunteering with Turkey Trot activities
working with Student Council for Red Ribbon Week
volunteering to collect donations at the Santa House
toy drives
locker organization
peer tutoring
assisting our Boosters Club run concessions at games
junior high orentation and tours
and whatever else comes across our path
PAWS is responsible for providing uplifting notes of encouragement which are located in the junior high school hallway. Students are encouraged to take these positive messages home to give to siblings, friends, parents, or anyone needing an uplift!
