Lady Lions Basketball

The Lady Lions basketball team split on Saturday at the Dieterich Holiday Tournament beating Arcola 64-31, and losing to top seeded Brownstown - St. Elmo 78-47.

In the morning game against Arcola, the Lions took a 33-22 lead into half-time and then never looked back holding the Purple Riders to 9 2nd half points for a 64-31 victory.

In the afternoon game against BSE, the Lions led after the 1st, but trailed going in to half 37-25. In the 3rd quarter the Lions cut the lead to 9 before the Bombers took over going on to a 78-47 victory.
