The Lady Lions basketball team traveled to Lake Land College on Monday night to take on the Neoga Indians, who are without a gym currently do to tornado damage last spring. The Lions jumped out to 15-4 lead after the first and never looked back taking 29-13 lead into the lockerroom at half and finishing with 53-33 win. Ten Lions players scored on the evening led by Lynn Welborn with 20, Marlee Heighton 13, Abbie Thompson 5, and Addy Ross with 4. Ella Mattas, McKenzie Davis, Lilly Ross, Kyla Gustafson, and the Shooter, Jayden Jones, all had 2 points. Karsyn Johnson rounded out the scoring with 1.

The JV dropped a close one 41-38. Lilly Ross and McKenzie Davis paced the Lions scoring with 14 and 10 respectively. The Lady Lions are off over Thanksgiving, and return to action on Tuesday, December 2, at Tri-County.
